The guy with the sunglasses is our new toy. He’s called an emoji and he came with a McDonald’s happy meal! Since he’s round and yellow, we call him “The cool emoji chip”. We absolutely love him!

The Shampoo is mainly for horses, hence the name Mane ‘n Tail. But doggies and people can use it too! The next morning, (the 14th) Barbarella and I got a bath with it. We were all nice and clean and smelled good.

A couple hours later, I went for a walk with Jess and her family to some property nearby. As usual, I was off leash and enjoying myself. At one point in time I somehow ended up getting left behind and when I found everyone, they were on the other side of a deep creek! Well, with me on one side and Jess somewhere on the other, I just had to find a way across. When Amanda told Jess that I got left behind and was on the other side of the creek Jess went back to get me. When she got there, she found me trying to cross the creek on a very skinny fallen tree! I didn’t know the tree I was trying to cross on didn’t even go to the other side!

Jess told me to stay so I didn’t try to go any farther and fall in. She then went back to the shallow part of the creek where everyone else crossed and came and got me. We continued on our way and when we got to the main creek crossing Jess’ little brothers saw some tadpoles and minnows in the creek, so we stopped to let them try to catch some. While they were all interested in the minnows, Jess and I hid behind a small dead cedar tree to try and get some picture of the minnows and other things.

A bug that was hiding behind the tree with us.

There was also a turtle.

The turtle went farther away, but Jess wanted a better picture of it, so she went to see if she could get closer to it while I was having fun sniffing around the cedar tree.

Jess was on her way to the turtle when she heard a splash. Can you guess what made that splash? IT WAS ME! I fell in the creek which was about 4-5 feet deep! Jess knew I could swim pretty good, (thanks to all those lesson in the bathtub) so instead of worrying, she got a short video of me swimming out. It would have been longer, but the camera was being lazy and the video didn’t start ’til I was almost out.

Here I am all wet and soggy.

After falling in, I decided to go with Jess to where the turtle was. I guess all my splashing scared him away because we didn’t find him after that.

So then, we went along the creek over towards the fence to get something that floated down stream.

I didn’t find anything too interesting down there so I was ready to head back. We headed back to the house where unknown at the time, I was to get ANOTHER bath when we got there! I mean, come on, I had a bath this morning and got soaked again when I fell in the creek, why did I have to have another bath? Jess said it was because I fell in the creek. But why? Isn’t water supposed to make you clean?

It was a fun day (except for all the baths!). Good thing Barbarella didn’t come or else she might have had to have another bath too!
