Birthday Days: DIY Frogurt Cake Treat
Is that a word? Frogurt? Well, I don’t care if it is or isn’t because it’s absolutely delicious! And in case you haven’t figured it out yet, frogurt is what we call frozen yogurt. Well, tomorrow’s my birthday (yippee!) and in case you would like to celebrate it with me (even more than what we’ve been doing all week long), I have a yummy DIY cake both you and your dog can enjoy! It’s beautiful and delicious.
D.I.Y. Strawberry Frogurt Cake Treat
What you’ll need:
- Blender
- Container(s) to freeze your treat in.
- Plain Yogurt
- Strawberries
Now, there are no specific amounts of ingredients to use because it all depends on how much you are making and how sweet you want it to be.
Step 1. Slice up some strawberries about 1/8″ thick and line the bottom of your container(s) with them.
Step 2. Combine some other strawberries and yogurt in blender. Blend until well mixed.
Step 3. Slowly pour the yogurt mixture over the strawberry lined container(s).

The strawberries on the bottom will probably move around some when pouring the yogurt in. So be sure to pour slowly.
Step 4. Place in the freezer. We made ours and then ate it the next day, so I’m not sure how long it takes before it’s completely frozen (sorry about that).
Once frozen, warm the sides of your container with the heat from your hands and then pop it out and enjoy!

Okay, my mouth is watering now… :P
Be sure to use plain yogurt, as flavored yogurt has sugar and other things in it which are bad for your pet. Most people don’t care for plain yogurt because of how tart it is, but a lot of dogs love it! If you think it’s too tart for you, try adding more strawberries to sweeten it.
