Riding On a Horse In Saddle Bags

Barbarella:

Dachshunds in saddle bags

The day before yesterday, we were riding one of our horses. Amanda and Jess found out a way for me and Mini to ride with them on the horse without having to hold us – saddle bags!

They used some big saddle bags that were the perfect size for me and Mini to fit in. Riding in the saddle bags is way better than being on the ground where I could get stepped on.

Mini and I both had to be in the saddle bags at the same time to counter the weight.

We had harnesses on with a leash attached (that Jess is holding) and wrapped though the saddle bag’s rings to make extra sure we didn’t fall out. The saddle bags were secured to the saddle and we were secured to the saddle bags.

Now Mini and I can go riding with Amanda or Jess together in the saddle bags. Yee-haw!!!

Playing With a Piece Of Wood

Barbarella:The day before yesterday was a nice day to be outside to play around. So, I had some fun playing with a piece of wood.

After Amanda threw it two times, I wanted to chew on it.

It’s not a special piece of wood, just the kind I like to chew on.

Agility Practice

Barbarella:Today is the perfect day to do agility. It’s not too cold and not too hot. It’s been a while since I last did agility, but I still remembered how to do it.

Amanda gets a kick out of the way my ears are when she takes the pictures.
